Hi, my name is Joan Collins Brown 

I’m a wife to my sweetheart, Chase and mother to sweet baby boy, Rory.

My family and I immigrated to Miami Beach, Florida when I was three. Where I spent most of my life. Until I moved to Provo, Utah for University. Where I met Chase, fell in love and one year later in 2014, married in the Ft. Lauderdale LDS Temple.




Once Chase graduated school we moved to Edinburgh, Scotland. Where Chase finished his Master’s degree at the University of Edinburgh. It was an incredible time in our lives and hold it close to our hearts. 











We now call Florida home, again. We love living near both our families and raising Rory in the sunshine and sea.




Somewhere between love and motherhood, I started How Joan Does It. A blog dedicated to sharing tips, inspiration and insight about fashion, beauty, travel and motherhood. Blogging has brought so many incredible opportunities to my life and I am so grateful to call this my job.
