Necklaces: c/o The silver wren Etsy shop I'm sure you have seen the sock boot trend around the last couple of seasons. To be honest when I first noticed the trend was during Kanye West Yeezy season 2. I had my reservations about the new trend because it just seemed like a fad. However, I kept seeing the boot everywhere and almost all designers started incorporating the trend into their design. Most recently, Balenciaga released their version of the sock boot for the season called the knife boot and I fell in love. After seeing the boot on many women I fell in love with the style the boot gave to your look. They elongated your legs and went so well with so many outfits. I was ready to hit "buy" but then I noticed that very high price tag and took a step back. I wanted to try the trend but I didn't want to spend so much money on a trend. So I went on the hunt for an affordable version on the high street and found this pair I'm wearing from Zara. I love them! They are very flattering and pretty comfy as well. Since I'm back in South Florida my Autumn outfits look very different than the last few years from living in Utah and Scotland. These boots can incorporate the Fall vibes even without the layering knits and sweaters. What do you think about this trend? Are you in love or are you skipping it? Joan |
