Funny story about this blazer, I actually bought it years ago at a thrift store in Utah called DI (Deseret Industries). It is originally from Abercrombie and Fitch and I can't tell you enough how surprised I was to find out this beautiful velvet blazer was a A&F number. It's something I didn't expect from them. Anyways, I bought it just thinking it was so lovely and a perfect price (I needed it), and it was long before the velvet trend came back. I'm so happy I kept it. I love little shopping experiences like this. I don't share it enough, but second hand shopping is my favorite. Finding little gems for such great prices gets me so excited.

I also love these mom jeans from TOPSHOP, believe it or not I'm not really into wearing jeans. I'd rather wear skirts, dresses, or even trousers, because I find it more flattering for my shape. A new trend that is happening is all the different fits for denim. For such a long time skinny jeans were all the rage and I completely understood why. They suit a lot of different figures, but skinny jeans just don't work for me, and I think that was the problem when trying to find the perfect pair. I was looking at the wrong fit.
I'll be sharing some new denim trends for spring and summer very soon, so stay tuned.

Thanks for reading,

Joan
