Hello beautiful people,
I hope you all enjoyed the weekend, I definitely did. I started my new job this past week with Anthropolgie. I have always loved the company's style and stores unique estitique plus charm so I'm just happy to work for a company I believe in.
Chase and I had a lovely weekend, on Friday we went to check out a different part the National Scottish Museum (which is free to enter). Its such a beautiful building with a ton of interactive activities, we wanted to finish the natural science section since last time we were there the museum closed before we could be done exploring.
Chase made a reservation later that night at a French restaurant called Café Marlayne. The restaurant is quite small yet cozy so I definitely encourage you to make a reservation if you are planning on going because sitting is limited and they seem to be very busy. I LOVED the Cod on a bed of Risotto (I love a good Risotto).
On Saturday I woke up early to run to the market (literally run) to buy the most delicious Almond Croissants I have ever tasted. I was craving them for breakfast. Chase and I had breakfast at home before heading to work, we had planned on checking out the fireworks later that night because remember, remember the 5th of November. Unfortunately due to high winds there were no fireworks in our area but through all of the UK people celebrate this day and call it bonfire night. I'm really enjoying not only learning about different cultures but being able to actively participate in living in here.
As for this outfit I originally just planned on having it as an all neutral outfit but I loved this bag so much and burgundy is such a hot color for Fall I thought it would be great to make it pop in the outfit. I was definitely warm for the day.
