I typically loath going to a grocery store. Probably because it feels mundane and an obligated chore. However, going to Trader Joe's makes me feel happy. The aloha theme store, the beautiful flowers, the seasonal decor. It's all so ... charming. It gives me the ability to feel as if I stepped into small town like Rory and Lorelei IN STARS HOLLOW.
As a result of my many trips to Trader Joe's I've been able to gather a list of my ultimate favorites that you'll be able to snag all year long (the list doesn't include seasonal products).
These are the 14 best, tried and trUe favoriteS of Trader Joe's.
1. FIG & OLIVE CRISPS

| You need these like you need to breathe. Seriously, if you have any gathering needing crackers, get these. Everyone will be impressed. Add it your charcuterie board every time because these crackers go with any cheese. My favorite is Goat cheese covered in blueberries. |

| Sure, you can easily whip up some balsamic glaze yourself but why go through the hassle when this is so good. Really, put it on EVERYTHING! |

| I was such a skeptic about this Cauliflower pizza crust. I can confirm, its great. I mean it won't replace my unhealthy pizza anytime soon but this is great and filling. Throw that glaze all over it, trust me. |

| All my years going to the Jewish bakery across my elementary school has come to this. THIS IS GOOD! I mean, if you can go to a local Jewish bakery, go there but this is a good substitute. |
5. EVERYTHING BUT THE BAGEL SESAME SEASONING

| I'm positive you've heard of this and yes its as good as people claim. |
6. FROZEN CROISSANTS

| I wish I was eating these in France every Saturday instead of my couch but its good, especially the Almond croissants. |

| I just started eating this green goddess salad dressing about a month ago and it's so holy good! I use it as a dipping sauce for my turkey wraps and wow its delicious and healthy. Win win. |

| You need to buy this. I don't know how else to tell you. |
9. SPICY PEANUT VINAIGRETTE

| Have you ever had the Santa Fe salad from cheesecake factory? You should but you should also buy this salad dressing, it taste the same. Probably my favorite Trader Joe's product and if this gets discontinued I don't know how I'll live. |
10. SWEET POTATO GNOCCHI

| Really Yummy. Just don't follow the instructions on the back. |
11. TRADER JOE'S FLOWERS!

| My local Trader Joe's has the best flowers, hands down. Always fresh, in season and perhaps underpriced? Seriously, buy yourself some flowers. |
12.&13. VEGETABLE AND CHICKEN SAMOSAS
 |
| After years of going to Indian restaurants I know nothing except their food is delicious and this holds up. One of my most favorite things. I love both equally. |
14. THAI VEGETABLE GYOZA

Target surpasses my expectations each year with their Christmas decor. This year they released their collection with Studio Mcgee. The Instagram-famous design company. Which has attainable and beautiful pieces to fill your home. I gathered some of my favorites from the collection to start off your Christmas decor shopping!

| My baby boy turned 1 and I am still not over it! I never thought I would be the type of parent to throw a big-expensive party. And I proved myself right. I went back and forth on themes for Rory's 1st birthday and landed on a over the rainbow/up up and away theme. Almost everything at the party was DIY including the cake and balloon garland which saved us $500. We knew we wanted to celebrate Rory's special day with loved ones. We kept the invite list very short with less than 10 people to try and keep everyone safe. It is a weird time in our lives but I didn't want to cancel or postpone such a joyful day. To be honest, it didn't bother me at all keeping the guest list small and intimate. Keep reading to find out where I bought the balloons and how I made the hanging clouds. |

The clouds were my absolute favorite feature of the party and so simple to make. All I used was pillow filling which I bought HERE thick box cardboard and a hot glue gun. The party was very small, with just intimate family of less than 10 people. So I didn't go overboard with the decor but the clouds were so pretty I wanted to fill the whole house to make it feel like we were in the sky. For the clouds hanging from the ceiling I glued fishing wire to the cardboard before the pillow filler to make sure it would hang correctly. Then filled the top with filler to cover it. To make it hang we just used thumbtacks and it worked brilliantly. The clouds on the wall was a breeze to make. I cut the shape of a cloud on poster board and then with glue, pasted the pillow filler until I was happy. |

| My mom made the cake and cookies which were absolutely delicious. She also made the small size meringues to resemble clouds. The larger, I bought at Trader Joes and I ordered the wooden "ONE" sign on amazon. You can buy the same HERE I made the large yarn rainbow cake topper. I bought the supplies at hobby lobby which included: YARN (1 balloon of which color was plenty) Rope (depends the size you will like to make) Floral Wire Hot glue gun + Glue sticks Tape |

The hot-air balloon did not turn out the way I hoped. It was difficult to get the balloons to lay the direction I wanted. It still gave the vision I wanted and I tried to follow some Youtube tutorials but It just didn't work the way I wanted. If you are trying it, the trick is to use a low grade hot glue gun. |

What did look amazing, was our balloon garland. This is the second time we attempted a large balloon garland. I have to say, were pretty good at it. To be fair, its extremely easy and fast to do. You can do it too. All you need are the right tools to make the job a breeze. We order all our balloons from amazon, for this garland I had some left over from my baby shower. I ordered THESE for this project which comes with everything you need and is less than $15. But if you are planning on make more balloons and to save you time and your lungs I would HIGHLY recommend investing in an electric balloon pump. THIS ONE is great and you wont regret it. |
